BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS
On-the-Day Content Capture (Weddings & Events)To secure your event date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due seven (7) days prior to the event.
The retainer secures your date exclusively and covers pre-event preparation, planning, and the reservation of our availability. For this reason, it is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
In rare and genuinely unforeseen circumstances, retainers may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Please note that cancellations due to change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are not eligible for partial refunds.
Design Services (Monograms & Digital Invitations)Monogram and digital invitation design services require payment in full prior to commencement. This confirms your project booking and allows for the release of digital design files.
Due to the digital nature of these services, all payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Branding & Website Design Services (The Identity Studio)For branding, website design, and identity projects, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required prior to commencement to secure your project booking. The remaining balance is due prior to the release of final approved files or website handover, unless otherwise outlined in your proposal or invoice.
Brand board design and other standalone digital brand assets require payment in full prior to commencement, as these are delivered as digital-only assets.
The retainer secures studio design time, creative planning, and project scheduling. As such, it is non-refundable once work has commenced.
Final deliverables, including brand assets, design files, and website access, will be released once payment has been received in full.
Upon full payment, clients may use the final approved deliverables for their intended business and marketing purposes. Define By Detail retains the right to showcase completed work for portfolio and promotional use.
Pricing & FlexibilityOur pricing reflects the time, expertise, and level of service provided. While pricing is set, we’re always happy to discuss your requirements and explore whether a scope that suits your budget is possible.
In some cases, staged payments or payment in full at commencement may apply, depending on the nature and scope of the project. Any payment structure will be clearly outlined prior to commencement.
Full booking terms are provided upon enquiry and included in your booking agreement.
